Destiny is the bread winner for Bungie, putting them in a very difficult position, using the Destiny franchise as a way to make money for new projects, Bungie hoped SIE could helped them on this, but if rumors, and leaks are to be believed SIE is stingy and wants results now, but that is rumors, not confirmed. Point is Bungie has choices, but limited time to make them, the choices are, keep improving on current Destiny which is stagnating development of future projects, forget Destiny, go 100% for developing new IP’s, or restart the Destiny franchise with another sequel, the ball’s in Bungie’s court, and they better make their move fast or else soon SIE will be the one making their move for them, and Sony loves money more than Bungie.
