It's not like they would have to remake the entire game for it to run on Linux, there was already a prebuilt image made for Stadia. Plus in the short year that proton has been running, there has been exactly 0 evidence that games are more susceptible to hackers. (This was the main reason Bungie was hesitant to push D2 into this platform.) Not to mention, Bungie themselves wouldn't have to do barely any extra work to get their game on Linux/Steam OS. So to you Bungie, I say this. I'm incredibly grateful for the countless hours I've spent in this game, and the people I've shared experiences with running strikes and raids.
