Barely playing the game already =/ am I the only one?
I don't know, guys. Maybe it's just me and if this is the case, well, better for everyone. I'm really glad for those who are enjoying the game right now and having fun with it.
Lightfall has been out for 3 weeks, almost 4, and I'm already barely touching it. Usually I take periods of rest from D2 now and then, udually like the last month of a Season or when the game go throught a phase I don't like and I have to wait Bungie to fix or change things. With a new Expansion coming out with a new Subclass, story ecc I thought I'd be active again. I really struggle to find something interesting or enjoying to do, right now.
I'm currently playing other games waiting for Bungie to shake up things. I was wondering if I'm the only one or also other people are on my same boat, tho.
EDIT: He, I know this thread is meaningless. Just wanted to share thoughts and opinions with someone else.

3 RespuestasThis DLC is the worst one Bungie has ever made imo. I personally enjoyed curse of osiris more even. It's an empty grind fiesta nothing more. Atleast witch queen had an exciting planet, a great story and overall cool visuals. This DLC tho? Nah i hated every bit of it. The current team working on D2 is just not it imo. Props to you if you can still enjoy anything these guys create.

12 RespuestasNot at all. If you look at the Steam Charts, the drop off in players is alarming. The game has never lost so many players in such a short time.

Destiny has a lot of "replayability" but in respect to $ the actual expac Lightfall....not the QoL features literally everyone gets is less that 10 hours of content -assuming you run 1 toon and do the campaign on normal you can run it in less that 4 hours easy -its less of a campaign and more of a strand tutorial -a new patrol zone -a raid, beautiful - but with dungeon level mechanics -the exotic quest for the machine gun is just garden backwards - wow (I do love the idea of exploring that place but why do that when they can just recycle a raid) side note: but this campaign had no "wow" moments. that final mission of witch queen seeing the traveler fill the sky. what a sight vexcalibur is tied to season of defiance im pretty sure so thats out.

2 RespuestasI'm doing the same, I log on, do some bounties, maybe 1 or 2 of the weeklies to unlock the helm stuff. I just don't see the point in constantly being 1-shot at maximum armour while only going Neomuna patrols (which are locked at - 15 power) What's the point in increasing power when most of the new stuff has enemies who are always +15) I thought this was supposed to be the more inclusive expansion because they wanted more people to experience the content? What a lie that turned out to be. Even the commendation system is crap. There is something seriously wrong when a game is more like hard work than actually working. Nothing will change as they only listen to the streamers.

I am def a bit bored. Was logging in last night with nothing to really do. I'm not a pvp player, got nobody online who likes gambit, done all the pinnacles etc....

3 RespuestasSame. I finished the story to get strand. Not even bothering with grinding aspects on neumona. I done with doing the power grind. All I play is PvP now. The game is boring.

I'm right there with you. I quit after Black Armory and came back for Lightfall. The only change I noticed in all that time is they push FOMO even more. I've already uninstalled. The only thing that sucks is when this game is done I hope Bungie release something immediately after to keep their fans caged so they can't f up a different game.

Yeah I mostly just get on on reset for the story bits and then I'm off to play something else, normally when a DLC drops I run around and look for secrets but with just how tedious the enemies are on Neomuna I can't really be bothered to do that

2 RespuestasI didn't buy the DLC and have no intention to. It didn't look like something I would enjoy and I made the decision this time to wait and see, and I was right. Might drop back in for the Final Shape, but that's doubtful also

Did not buy the new expansion, from what I've read and the reviews, I'm glad I didn't. I played the first free mission from Lightfall, was not impressed by anything in it. Haven't touched the game since.

The post campaign content was fun...but this is the fastest I've ever stopped playing Destiny 2. There just doesnt feel like there's anything to work towards outside of the 2 red borders per week (raid and battlegrounds). I dont know if its because Seasonal Battlegrounds are finally dried up or if its because the base of the game is a bullet sponge filled slob with no changes in rewards. I'll be playing Iron Banner this week but I might be making Destiny 2 a background game till they patch the NUMEROUS bugs with artifacts, rewards, and crashes (No patch or true maintenance outside of a singular hotfix since release blows my mind).

I wasn't impressed at all with all the Lightfall reveals. Like, to me, all the reveals did was scream "LOOK AT HOW WE WASTED ALL THESE PROFITS ON REDUNDANT NEW SYSTEMS LIKE COMMENDATIONS THAT NO PLAYER WILL GIVE A -blam!- ABOUT! ALSO, WE HEARD THE TRYHARDS LIKE BULLET SPONGES SO HERE YOU -blam!- GO!" Lightfall just looks like some weird fever dream crossed with bad fanfiction. Going from the WQ narrative to Lightfall seems so surreal even by Destiny's standards. If the price is low enough during the Christmas sale, I'll probably buy it then. But there's no way in hell my SO and I were spending over $200 for this rubbish. The only thing keeping me interested is this weird loyalty I feel towards my Hunter and wanting to see this ....... mess........ through to the end.

I had originally quit playing for 10 months right after Witch Queen launched, for the same reason, extreme boredom. I'm definitely a casual, I don't do the raid or anything involving other guardians (occasional Iron Banner or strikes if they're part of a quest). I started Lightfall day 1 and got through the campaign (strand training missions). Messed around on Neomuna for a week or so and am at the same point I was right after the Witch Queen launch. The difficulty increase is insane, and not in a good way. I got my Hunter up to 1764 and I'm not sure I can get any higher based on the way I play. Most of the activities on Neomuna aren't available to me because of the low light level. I'm not exclusive to any game and I have a rotation of 2-3 pretty much all the time. I'm afraid Destiny will just be pushed to the side for now. I have to give it to Bungie though as they're the master at marketing. I was certainly suckered in.

I don't play as much, rng is garbage, no balance at all . many times I don't get any drops not even glimmer

2 RespuestasBeen at the vex zone trying to unlock stuff and finish bounties... I can only kill decent amounts of enemies while using thunder lord. Even volatile rounds on smg takes nearly 2.5 clips to kill a yellow bar and that’s with kill clip proc’d.. Red bars is 2 clips from my pulse🤯 If you’re alone there you have no chance of completing the 2nd encounter on the plate. I need a power buff to do a patrol 🤔🤣
