This is indeed the correct place to seek help, unfortunately sometimes posts can be missed, or get a bit lost amongst the various threads being made. How long ago did you deactivate the previous cross-save setup, to unlink your Xbox account from the other Steam account?

    You're right mate sorry. I deactivated it like a little over a month ago and It gave me the possibility to enable cross save again. So I connected my xbox account to my steam account and that worked fine. It also says it on my connected accounts page but it doesn't look like it's acctually connected.

  • Deactivating cross-save puts a 90 day cooldown period on each of the accounts involved, before those accounts can be used in another cross-save activation. As your Xbox account is still on cooldown, it will not fully link to your current cross-save setup until that timer has elapsed.     Hi again, It has most definitely been 90 days+ since I connected my account and it still is not displaying the right characters on xbox. I don't understand I thought that after 90 days it should be "linked" again? It still shows the right Bungie ID when I want to choose a character but I can only pick the xbox characters still and I want to use my steam characters, it does say the right characters on bungie.net when I look at my cross save setup just not on my xbox. And when I pick a character it switches back to the old Bungie ID. Waiting didn't help it seems so what do I do next?

  • It is possible that you are still within the 90 days. Back on Dec 19th, you had said that you deactivated “a little over a month” prior. Depending on the exact date, you may just need to wait a few more days. However, if the situation does not rectify itself over the next week or so, please let me know, and I will have to pass your info up the chain to be looked into further.

  • I’ve passed your info to DPS, and asked if they can look into your situation. Not sure how much time they may need, given everything going on with the Lightfall launch, but hopefully they can help you out.
