I laid a Halo 5 HUD over Destiny 2 in photoshop
It just makes it look so... modern. Sleek. It matches so well. If D2 allowed overlays, I'd put this over it instantly and never take it off.
I also added a slightly over-baked bloom effect to the original D2 HUD parts to make it look like it's part of your helmet and not a png on your screen.
