My son started out on Destiny 2 with a character on his mom's Steam account, he's older now and has been playing on Xbox and wanted to be independent from his mom's account. I assumed since it said on the Bungie website that once cross save was disabled, all characters would be in both places. I went ahead and unlinked his Xbox account from her Steam account and it simply deleted every character from his game on Xbox. I thought they were both supposed to remain? Now it says nothing can be done about it for 90 days. Is there anything a Bungie employee can do to help?
