Players who have received a ban or restriction may contact us using the below form to appeal the decision. There are no guarantees that a ban or suspension will be overturned, nor that an email will be responded to.

Ban and Restriction Policy


The rules outlined in our Ban and Restriction Policy page have several clear guidelines about the behavior that can lead to a ban or restriction on your account or device. Please ensure you have read through it before submitting an appeal.

Clear violations of the rules outlined in the policy are less likely to have their restrictions or bans overturned.

If you have received a temporary restriction due to poor connection quality, you may want to read through the Network Troubleshooting Guide. This is a collection of recommended troubleshooting steps that can help you optimize your network connection to Destiny. 




Evidence for Appeal


If you believe your ban or restriction should be overturned, provide evidence to support your appeal.
  • Be honest if you were violating any of the terms laid out in our Account Restriction and Banning Policies. Explain exactly how you violated the policy, including any cheat software you were using.
  • If you were abusing a game bug, give us detailed instructions to reproduce the bug. If we can verify the game bug, we are more likely to overturn your ban or restriction.
