Item Collections Guide
All Platforms

Players may use Item Collections to retrieve certain items which have been previously earned or unlocked through gameplay, or purchased through the Eververse Trading Co. store. There are several Item Collections which players may use.

Table of Contents

Unlocking Items

Once an eligible item has been earned in-game, it will be available for retrieval from its respective Collection.

  • Collection items may be earned through gameplay, purchased through an Eververse Trading Co. storefront, or redeemed by a promotional code.

  • Items not yet earned may include a brief description in their tooltip which explains how they may obtained.

Retrieving Items

Once players have unlocked an item in one of the Item Collections, they are able to reacquire that item by visiting the Item Collection in-game.

  • Items from the Emblem, Emote, Holiday, Shader, Ship, and Sparrow Collections can only be reacquired if the player does not already have that item in their Inventory. If a player does already have the item in their Inventory, the item will be grayed out and the "Can Only Hold One at a Time" message will be displayed in the item tooltip.

  • The Abandoned Quest Collection will only have Quests available for retrieval that have been abandoned or declined by the player.

  • Retrieving items from the Exotic Armor Blueprints and Exotic Weapon Blueprints requires players to pay some in-game currencies such as Exotic Shards, Motes of Light, or Glimmer.

Vital Information

Below is a list of Vital Information players may need to know about Item Collections.

  • Requires Eververse License - Most Emotes in the Emote Collection will display "Requires Eververse License" if they have not yet been unlocked. Players can acquire the Eververse License for an Emote by purchasing the Emote directly from Eververse while it is being sold in the store, or by receiving the Emote from Mystery Bags or Consumables that can be earned in game or purchased from the Eververse Trading Co. store. For more information, please see our Eververse Trading Co. Guided Support

  • Previously Dismantled Items - When the Exotic Armor Blueprints, Exotic Weapon Blueprints, and Holiday Item Collections were introduced, or when the Sparrow Horns were added to the Sparrow Collection, only the items that a player had in their Inventories or Vaults were unlocked in the new Item Collection. Items dismantled or discarded before the new Item Collection was introduced will need to reacquired to unlock the item in the collection.

  • Year 1 Quests - Update 2.0.0 introduced Quests for a majority of Year 1 Destiny content. Players that completed this content prior to Update 2.0.0 may acquire these Quests from the Abandoned Quest Collection.

  • Special Orders - The Special Orders Vendor has been removed and replaced by the various Item Collections. All items previously found there have been added to their respective Collections.

  • Exotic Heavy Weapons - Update 2.5.0 introduced new Exotic Heavy Weapons. To accommodate the new Heavy Weapons, some Year 2 Heavy Weapon Blueprints have been moved to the second page of the Collection screen.

  • Legacy Consoles - The Holiday Item Collection and changes to the Sparrow Collection were introduced with Update 2.4.1 which is not available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Legacy Consoles. As such, players on Legacy Consoles do not have access to these Item Collections. For more information, please see our Legacy Consoles Guided Support.
