I received an error when inserting an Xbox One Destiny disc while the Destiny Trial was running
This error occurs when, on an Xbox One, a Destiny retail disc is inserted while the Destiny Trial is running. If you purchase a Destiny retail disc after using the Destiny trial, please follow the steps below to avoid this error.
- Fully close the Destiny Trial app.
- Insert the Destiny retail disc.
- Complete any prompted download and installation process.
- Launch Destiny.
After successfully launching Destiny from the retail disc, you may then uninstall the Destiny Trial app.
