This error appears to players who are not signed in with their platform account, or their platform services are undergoing maintenance.

Additionally, this error may appear to players on console whose PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live subscription has expired.

Players who repeatedly encounter this issue should check the status of their platform’s services by following the links below. If no outage or maintenance has been reported, and this error continues to occur, please create a new topic in the #Help forums.

Buffalo Errors on multiple PCs: Players may encounter Buffalo errors when logging in to Destiny 2 on multiple PCs at the same time. To prevent this issue, players must ensure that they are logged out of Destiny 2 on any PC that they do not currently intend to play on.
