Completely agree. And I am not a fan of flying through strikes. Aren't Guardians supposed to kill everything in sight? Really can get tough if your teammates shoot through the Cabal and leave you to deal with it on your own... On an upside of strikes, another DoD member and myself needed a random to complete a weekly so I sent out a request to some folk in the tower. Younger guy accepted and off we go. Then about 5 minutes in, the kids dad goes on a 15 minute, hate and F bomb filled, rant about Muslims and Blacks and the fact that the kids older brother had a friend from school over that was either one or the other. The kid is F bombing dad right back, all the while holding his own in the strike. Every now and again my buddy or I would be off hiding in the corner on the strike, texting the other about how unbelievable the conversation we were listening to was. That, DoDers, is how not to raise a child. Although we will always have "remember the time when..."

2 RepliesNew to the group...how do I link up with other DoD's when playing Destiny?

1 ReplyI actually think Phogoth is easier to not die in. Nothing in that strike will one-shot you, and if you stand between the two rocks on the left side while fighting Phogoth, you only have to worry about one set of adds coming from the hive ship on the left after you clear some adds out in the beginning. Of course, this assumes that everyone you are running with is on the same page...

3 RepliesMy case was a bit different. I was playing crucible for my thorn bounty - teamed with 5 other random folks. Some douchebag sent me a private message saying that I should get out of crucible match cause I suck. I did ignore his message, but that seems very wrong to me.

4 RepliesI'm not a fan of matchmaking, that's the reason I have very few strikes/raids under my belt.

5 RepliesYou get some strange ones in matchmaking. The other irritating thing is when they just sit at the spawn point and do nothing. But I feel the same way as you. I feel a duty to my matchmade fireteam to finish the strike even if I'm trying to not die and in fact do die. I also have the same issue as you on Devil's Lair. That's about the easiest strike, but I still manage to get blown up by the walker if I'm not paying attention to where its laser pointer is pointing.
