Halo 5 Announcement Trailer
Just released, the announcement trailer for Halo 5. It seems they timed the release to be right after the E3 Sony conference. Regardless, what do you think about the trailer and Halo in general at this point?

1 ReplyThe Forerunner artifact might be some kind of war sphinx. Not sure why the Chief is in a cloak. What part will Dr. Halsey's revenge on the UNSC play in Halo 5? Cortana's chip/storage device thing was destroyed in Halo 4, so what is he holding? Why is his visor cracked? Also, where the hell is he? I'll probably get this game, as long as I don't have to get an xbox one to play it. This trailer raises a lot more questions than answers, though. Very interesting.

3 RepliesI literally screamed out loud "WTF" seeing suddenly Chiefs helmet. No other trailer every made my heart go nuts like the Halo 5 one.

Halo 4 was crap. So I am not going to even bother with this one. Not only that but the trailer is beyond what I'd call a "reasonable leap from the bounds of reality". The chief's in a sci-fi universe, so some weirdness is allowed. I accept thee buried forerunner(?) thing. I even accept his missing cortana. Why is he in a robe meant ,and traditionally worn, to protect your skin from blowing sand and stinging sun? He's in an airtight armored suit. A suit that has survived reentry, a little sand isn't going to hurt it. This is just a blatant attempt at some vague tragic hero story that 343 is trying to pull. Not only that but the game won't be geared towards my tastes if 343's last conference is still true.

They showed this at then end of the Xbox Conference. Caught a lot of people off guard with the whole Chief being under the cloak thing.
