Account Security is very crucial and essential when interacting with bungie.net. Bungie's [b][url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360048721292-Account-Security-Guide]Account Security Guide[/url][/b] gives important information on how to secure your account.
[spoiler]Passwords are very crucial for protection. It is highly recommended to change your password often and use a mixture of uppercase, lowercase, and special characters as well as numbers. A good example of a strongly secured password is "xx0M3GA$H3NR0Nxx". A password that can be easily guessed should never be used such as "abc123". There is a great tool to clear your computers history and unwanted files which is called [b][url=https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download]CCleaner[/url][/b] so check it out! It can also remove passwords from your computer if you accidentally allow a website to remember them. It is also highly recommended to add security features to your email address such as security questions and secondary emails in case a security breach occurs.
Online identity is important in life if you wish to remain anonymous. Everything you post online can be made public ranging from your name to your online photo. There are websites that offer privacy such as Bungie.net. You can click on your Bungie.net avatar and navigate to Settings and go through the tabs to adjust your settings to your liking.
Have you received an email that looked suspicious? There are a few ways you can check to see what it is. An example of a real email from Bungie would be Bungie@info.bungie.net which can come from opting in Bungie Rewards. Before you click on the email, you first need to check to see if it is really from them. On most mobile devices, in order to see where the email has been sent from, click the "from" email. If you are unsure of the email address, do not click it and visit the #Help forums. You can post that email in the #Help forums for clarification while covering up your personal information. In order to save you from a lot of hassle, you can just hover a mouse over links on a PC, clicking on them on a smart device and not clicking on any links in untrusted emails.

2 RepliesI’m in need of some assistance if possible . I “cross saved” linked my ps5 account to steam so I could use my characters on my Pc. It said my characters are inactive, I then tried to deactivate the cross save because I could not access my characters on either platform and then it now says I can’t deactivate the cross save because I “purchased silver”. It says I have to wait 81 days . Is their any thing I could do to resolve this sooner ? Thank you

Why when you mute somone knowing it should be that you don't see anything they say if they reply to you, but if another person quotes them we are able to see their reply? Doesn't that beat the whole purpose of muting somone? Edit: If I mute somone it's for a good reason and this means I don't want anything to do with them. I don't want to see they have made a reply to me at all. Even the little number that showed the muted person made a reply.

4 RepliesTheHaraamSanta You make some valid points and I agree that ever verse should be removed from this game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

Haraam meaning in Arabic is unclean. The fact that your gamer tag means unclean, unblessed police is a little extreme for a Ninja / mentor tbh. I supposed Bungie had no idea what your gamer tag means as they have allowed you to become a Ninja /mentor.

But for the most part for every action, there is a reaction whether it be positive or negative in any conversation/feedback. This is not about who's to blame, it's about what can be done to at least improve the miscommunication or lack thereof. This forum has been how it is now more often than not for 6 years, just some months worse than others. But, there also have been times when the forum was in a good place and those times were when the feedback given to this company the community felt they were actually being heard, (not just listened to as most feel now.)Now I know everyone has their own opinion about Destiny, the forum, etc... but how one presents themselves makes a world of difference when giving feedback about this game to anyone in any conversation. I sometimes wonder how can this company ask the community to be more respectful towards them if they are not giving that same respect to their community? This is not to blame management, the director, etc... even though some of us do. It's to point out where the miscommunication starts from and that is from the top. From there it gets passed down to the bosses and then to the employees and their performance. From there it gets passed down to the community managers, then to the community which leaves the admins/moderators that deal with a lot more than most would ever want to deal with. So where does this really leave this forum? As of right now, neither this game nor this forum is in a good place. There is a variety of opinions but way too much hate towards each other, and this also includes the community managers, the admin/moderators, no exceptions period. As I said, for the most part for every action there is a reaction whether it be positive or negative in any conversation/feedback. It's just some know-how to deal with certain situations better than others. So how do we improve this? because if anyone reads this, I know as many do, some are pointing their finger to blame someone but don't even realize they have 3 fingers pointing right back at them. Not all the moderators are to blame for whatever action takes place on this forum as some try to express. [spoiler]I have to disagree with referring this to all of them. It's actually a select few that let their personal issues interfere with what they are actually supposed to do, and that is to treat everyone as equal in spite of their personal issues with anyone. As I said to somone else, it's not their job to judge anyone, that is not what a moderator is on this forum for but it takes place more often than not which leads to one abusing one's power. (A moderator is supposed to be neutral in any debate and never take sides.) The other thing that should not be happening ever even though it happens a lot is [b](allowing players to interact with a moderator by private messaging to get somone banned.)[/b] That is completely unacceptable and those moderators should be removed from this forum. Playing favoritism should be forbidden as a moderator period but the Admin allows this, and that alone is a huge issue. If the Admin is not doing their job, the moderators are not going to do their job, and if the moderators are not doing their job how can they expect the players to respect the "rules they created"?[/spoiler]
