RAID organization?

Solid question yo... Though it may be a long while before we get to raid content, how do we plan on organizing raid groups / performing teams?

  • I'm not sure if you meant how do we put teams together or how will we decide who is in which team. For getting a team together, it's pretty much like Cammey posted; I know I will join a raid pretty much anytime I'm asked as long as I have time to run it. If you're thinking in terms of raiding like most MMOs (lead tank, lead healer, etc), Destiny raids are only 6 people (I think), so that shouldn't be a problem unless there are people who are looking to push for things like top clear times or world firsts (I don't even know if Destiny has things like that). For the most part, I think people are going to find friends they want to play with regularly, and there will be a few who stand out as really good at their classes who may choose to help run people through content as well.

  • Well first off we should have 4 forum posts that are dividing people by console type. Xbox 360, Xbox one, PS4, PS3. From there we can have sign ups

Well there's a couple different ways. Depending on which is the most convenient for you. 1. Join the group skype chat to instantly see who's online and wants to play. (Normal group messages, we don't use mic or video) 2. Download the destiny app onto your phone or tablet to get notifications instantly when someone posts/replies. 3. Post a topic like "anyone want to do some raids for a couple hours in a couple minutes?" Or "I'm looking to play -insert game mode- and I'm looking for a -insert specific class/es- to join me!" 4. Add the ppl that posted their PSN IDs and jump into their party chat or just jump into their game if they have room. I find the 1st and 2nd more efficient. The 3rd will make the forums pretty cluttered (of course we can always clean out the forum topics later) and depends on how often ppl check the forums. But I'm hoping that by ppl adding each other already, and I know some have already began playing other games with each other, that ppl have made some go to friends to play destiny with from the group. If anyone has a suggestion on how to better organize raids etc, let us know (:
