I'm looking to try and find a headset that is good quality, i like to play late at night and the high volume is sort of a problem with my lady. I would like one that fits over the ears and has a pretty good quality mic to go along with it, wireless is prefered but not required.

11 RepliesI suggest Playstation Gold Wireless Headset. Very comfy. Long battery life (7-8 hours). People say I sound just fine, no complaints at all. Great sound, virtual surround sound. Made for Playstation. They also have an app you download and you can upload EQs for different games/modes even! And, 80 bucks. Honestly, best bang for the buck you're going to find. Also, 4.5/5 stars on Amazon. Not bad, right? Link - http://amzn.to/1m3p2XW

1 ReplyPS4, gold wireless headset. Not very expensive but totally wireless and super easy. Sound could be slightly better, but for the cost it is an awesome set. They are also coming out with a white headset for the Destiny bundle, I think.

Edited by J4ck0fAll_Game5: 9/4/2014 3:24:10 PMAstro A50s. They're $300. I know it's a lot but they are -blam!-ing incredible. Dolby surround sound 40mm speakers, with different eq modes depending on if you are playing a game, watching a movie, etc. I switched from turtle beach px22 to these and it was a great decision. And if you want to save some money, the A40s are the same headset basically but $250 and wired.

I found a good Turtle beach one for $40 at Walmart. It was made to go along with the PS3. Dual volume control helps a lot. Mic is bendable. I think it was the PSa model? Not sure exactly. It's corded and had better sound then a lot of of other wireless ones I have tried.

1 ReplyPS4 Gold Wireless HEADSET FTW

Astros. They are the best headset anyone could ever have. Or if you wanna go affordable then Turtle beaches are okay.

Razer blacksharks they aren't the cheapest but if you shop around you can get a good deal. They are completely analogue and plug into your controller, no need for charging. I use mine with a astro mixamp and the sound is awesome.

Playstation gold headset works great it's only $80 on amazon

I find it funny that no one mentioned the Logitech G930, not overly expensive and very useful, 7.1 surround sound.

Edited by BISHOP: 8/22/2014 10:53:54 PMI bought a pair of TB PX22's and use with PS4. I like them so far, the only thing they need is an off switch for inline amp for when you have Sony in stby. they are $60 at GameStop currently

I had Astro a50 and a40's but I prefer the a40's because they are wired and didn't have to wait for them to charge but both are very good headsets for gaming

1 ReplyDepends on your budget. A40's or A50's by Astro if you have deep pockets lol. The Playstation Gold headset for 99 bucks are very nice. I refuse to own Turtle Beach anything. They are cheep and break easy.
