Something Sounds Familiar...

In the latest issue of Newsweek they did a special collectors edition all about Destiny. They give a list if five characters that are most likely well known to all of us. Peter Dinklage as Ghost: "Dinklage, who is perhaps best known for his Emmy Award-winning role as Tyrion Lanister in HBO's Game of Thrones, lends his vocal talents to your constant companion, Ghost. A race of robotic beings created in the Traveler's dying breath, Ghosts use thier light to guide Guardians. Yours will be with you through the journey in Destiny, and thankfully Dinklage infuses the character with the type of guiding, calm resolve you'll need when your back's against the wall (or a crater's edge)." I feel the need to point out some of his other roles as he does such a great job. He also played in http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Dinklage Next we have a man who should not be confused with a tv personality, Bill Nighy. "Nighy's eclectic roles, from washed-up rock star Billy Mack in Love, Actually to the sinister Davy Jones in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, have prepared him for this enigmatic role in Destiny. He voices the Speaker, the Last City's foremost authority on the Traveler. Thirdly, we have Lauren Cohan. "Cohan portrays Maggie Greene on the AMC series The Walking Dead, fighting to survive in a world infected by zombies. Cohan's character in destiny is less clearly defined, known only as the Exo Stranger. Her motivations are mysterious, but given Cohan's experience with dispatching zombies, we're willing to bet the Stranger will have no issues taking out Hive thrall." If memory serves me right she would be the one who watched us on the hill at the moon mission, yes? Now, we move on to my forth and favorite actor of the lot, Nathan Fillion. Fillion has played his share of iconic characters Capt. Malcom Reynolds on the acclaimed series Firefly and the mystery writer Richard Castle on the ABC series Castle. He voices Cayde-6 in Destiny. A swashbuckling Vanguard who distributes Hunter armor in the Tower's Hall of Guardians because he lost a bet (lol?), Fillion's charater longs to be back in the action. And this isn't his first vocal work in a Bungie game -- a huge fan of the Halo franchise, Fillion was invited to lend his vocal talents to Halo 3." Okay, so I knew and watch Firefly and Castle, but Halo 3 as well!? * Brownie points -> Initiated* And last, but certai ly not least, we have Lance Reddick. "In his roles as Phillip Broyles on Fringe and Cedric Daniels on The Wire, Reddick exhibited the muted strength he brings to his character in Destiny. Reddick voices Commander Zavala, who sells a rotating inventory of Titan armor at the tower. As the foremost member of the Titan class, his is the City's most valued protector and it's most feared warrior." Now I would like to point out that last sentence their as innacurate... not false. He maybe be the most valued and feared NPC, however, we are the most feared PCs. Later on in this magazine, they mention Red vs. Blue. Bungie says that they are very ezcited to see what we can do with Destiny. Now to me, that seems like an invitation for a certain private donut to appear... So every I wish you luck in your endeavors over these next 20 days until destiny comes out. Grab your headsets, your video cards, microphones, and fire teams. For it is time to conquer a new IP. I am just a messenger... dont shoot the messenger Newsweek <3 If anyone else has any theories about events we have seen or other characters please post.
