[b]Blaise accesses the hex table. She sees Felghast....then next to it a similar planet with strange continental shapes- Earth.[/b]
"What the..." she says
"...Etana" she says dropping her hand.
"Kai and his damn scrambler".
[b]She pulls her hood down to reveal her long Phoenix ombré hair, but her Phoenix ventilator stays on. The golden tips of her hair glow a fluorescent gold in the dark.[/b]
[b]She walks over to the hex table and begins swiping the holograms of Felghast. She finds a pinpoint- a random beacon in the middle of the ocean. [/b]
"....what the hell are you doing Kai" she says softly.
[b]He walks over the otherwise of the hexagon table and looks at the random places beacon.[/b]
"Well whatever he is doing I hope he's alright. The damn guy left without saying a single word. Leaving all of us at the edges of our seats."
[b]He takes his face mask off.[/b]
"Yesterday night two people tried coming in here and tried to kill everyone. Luckily it was Friday night and no one was hear but some droids. I came in and stopped them and because of that I stay a while longer after my shift just in case."
"Well let's just say it was an uneven fight..... For them. It was two against one but I came out on top." [b]He pulls his tac pad up and starts watching the fight between him and the two others.[/b]
"I guess the streets really paid off."
[b]Her eyes glare suddenly at the computer.[/b]
".....who stocks up on millions of credits a week, before finally stopping on the day before they disappear", she says as she looks at Kai's deposits and withdrawals.
[b]Something then catches her eye- she looks at Felghast and Earth's hologram, and notices a rotational difference.[/b]
"Relativity....." She whispers softly.
"I guess it paid off."
[b]He walks back over and leans on the hexagonal table and looks at felghast and Earth.[/b]
"He must've planned this. No way this was all of a sudden and he just jumped on."
[b]He flips the access coin in his hand and sighs .[/b]
"What are you doing Kai?"
"....Etana" she says as she rapidly accesses her TACPAD.
"Kai's been missing for 2 months and a week" she says calculating the rotational acceleration of both planets.
[b]He catches the access coin and walks over to her.[/b]
"Yeah, alright. What are you getting at?"
[b]He glances at her TACPAD, her, then the hexagonal table. Piecing everything together.[/b]
".....but it's been over 1 year and exactly 3 days for him" she says sinking into the hovering office stool.
"To him......he's been gone for over a year."
[b]He sighs and leans back against a wall.[/b]
"A year?" [b]He puts his hands in his face and drags it back through his hair and to his neck.[/b] "damn."
"He's basically as old as Tessa and me now...."
[b]Suddenly, Vyper and Apex jump into the center of Kai's office.[/b]
[b]Blaise tosses a knife but Apex grabs it in mid-air with impressive reflexes as Tessa attempts to TK stop it which wouldn't have worked.[/b]
"....I COULD HAVE KILLED YOU!" she says angrily at her sister.
"We have a bigger problem at the moment" she says collapsing her mask revealing her identity to Etana.
[b]Etana shakes his head.[/b]
"God dammit, I hope I don't get fired. What's up with everyone and hiding there faces and why are you guys even here? And what bigger problems?"
[b]Apex snaps his fingers as the TV turns on. On it is the execution of Kamarov, and his last words being recited.[/b]
"BRUTUS HAS ESCA-" he says before the camera cuts off as the guillotine is dropped.
[b]Blaise glares her eyes as she walks over to her sister and Apex.[/b]
[b]Tessa looks at you and nods with her Vyper mask folding over her mouth. [/b]
[b]You see the 3 masked strangers putting their hands in the center.[/b]
"Etana, you think you can take him on again?" Blaise asks.
"Or you can just stay and play mall cop" Apex says.
"Private security for a high ranking organization." [b]He says looking at Apex.[/b]
"Oh yeah you might need this."
[b]He throws him his ballistic staff that he didn't even realized was gone.[/b] "Oh yeah and master thief."
[b]He looks at everyone and puts his face mask on.[/b] "Yeah, I can take him on again. I'm in."
[b]He gets up and walks over to them and puts his hand in the center like them[/b]
[b]Apex scoffs, and Blaise and Vyper activate their simultaneous teleport, group jumping.[/b]
[u]Psion Detention Facility, Outside Paranorm[/u]
[b]Upon arrival, there are several dead Overwatch droids all over the floor, one of the droid's comms remain on.[/b]
"PULL BACK PULL BAAHHHHHHHHH!" The soldier screams over comms.
[b]Vyper and Tessa immediately inject a KAP serum as soon as we arrive. [/b]
[b]Apex unslings his staff.[/b]
"That was unsettling," Apex says.
[b]Etana pulls his sniper sniper out and pulls it outward, making it transform into two pistols. He holsters one behind his back and he wields a pistol along with his red katana. [/b]
"Well, at least we know he is here." [b]He says gesturing to the radio comms.[/b]
