16 rounds from Fatebringer to destroy Detainment shield?!
Played VOG hard with friends tonight. It's been a while, does 16 rounds from a fully upgraded 300 Fatebringer sound right to take down a detainment shield? This happened to me at Templar and at Atheon. This seems ridiculous, I swear it wasn't like that a while back!

my load out was, Fatebringer, Black Hammer, and Hunger of Crota all maxed, thanks.
¿Now my question seems to be, what takes down detainment fastest? Looks like maybe a fusion rifle since I could be charging it before detainment goes up and it's a 1-shot.

I use ice breaker on Templar. Breaks the bubble and damages Templar at the same time

If you are using explosive round the explosive doesn't trigger on detainment..

Fatebringer is weird like that, imo best overall gun out of the raid but it struggles with specific tasks within the raid such as breaking detain or killing oracles. I highly encourage the use of the Vision of Confluence. Normally on Templar I"ll shoot 1 rocket as the special is in the air. Switch to VoC while aiming at Templar crit spot, fire until the detain breaks and I hit Templar with a few shots, switch to IB. For Atheon, I'll use my Icebreaker to break detain. Takes 3-4 shots. Clean Supplicants with the VoC.

two shots from maxed found verdict destroys any detainment field or oracle, any and every time. (maybe not the templar oracles, havent tried, but it probably does)
