Every weapon class they adjusted needed adjustments, I wouldn't have put the range adjustment on ARs though.

  • Numbers may say something but game play says other wise most people use ar's because they are good entry level weapons, as well as there counter parts in weapons are far and few between in good options most hand cannons sold suck as well as other variants. Most people don't want to fish for weapons in the pond called rng

  • "Because they are good entry level weapons" Exactly. Bungie wanted an easy weapon to get going with, but we're not growing out of the training wheels as a community. Diversity is important in any RPG model. People are bashing bungie because they're "trying to force us to play the game their way", but in actuality they're trying to get their game to grow in a reasonably predictable manner. If it grows unpredictably they have to rush to make changes they aren't prepared for (as we've already seen) and it slows the growth process. Tuning is part of the process. If the weapons patch causes a problem things will change again. It's a living game, players need to accept that and grow with it.

  • you tune as you go not rebuild the engine but i digress this is a quick fix the only good auto rifles are slower ones and I'm more of a hand cannon person, but most of the time i use a fast auto rifle because thats my play style. I see this update as a plus but also see it as a negative, this was really a warning for what is to come. if there is anything to take away from this update it that there is hope they hear us about the other pieces of weapons that stats cant show. the recoil, the range, the ammunition count, the way they act in game does not reflect stats. its a game of numbers but when numbers are thrown out the window what do you have left?
