If xur sold every item everyone wanted, what's the point in grinding in the game. Nothing. The game has already went downhill. Less grinding = less players/fan base

Yea cause it was introduced as a grading game to meet new people and play with other gamers

I've never played a better game for networking. I love helping new people through raids. Recruit the good ones to my clan. Networking on destiny is the shit.

Bump, if you make networking to get to know players and play with them then it's fun, kinda like playing Pokemon and becoming champion, it's an adrenaline rush, lol. I remember the times when I get a legendary engram or a good exotic I yell and completing an exotic bounty is so awarding....those were the good days

Strange coins are a dime a dozen. 27 a week minimum since august. Yes you have to purchase the items. But strange coins are not scarce at all. grinding out on raids to get a lucky drop add more thrill than seeing xur with an item you can get by running 2 weeklies. Just my opinion

Just my opinion[/quote] Sure, but look at it this way. I ran a nightfall with one of my buddies, who just started to run the nightfall. He didn't have any raid gear, or maxed out weapons. At the end of the run, I got 6 strange coins. He got a Gjallarhorn. Since then, I've been grinding out the game, getting more strange coins, (3 exotic drops - a Red Death and 2 No Land Beyond (I know, you're jealous with my luck in getting 2 NLB)) - while he's been using the Gjallarhorn. I certainly would much rather get the exotic drop than the strange coins; with the drop, you can immediately start to use it but with the coins you have to grind out more (because you can't earn enough coins in 1 run to buy an exotic straight up) and then you have to wait for Xur to sell it.

I got 2 no land beyonds from the wizard drop on crota back to back on two charachters this week as well. Free exotic shards I guess.

Did you buy an icebreaker from xur?

Less grinding equal more players actually. Only MMO players and elitist dicks will leave. They are NOT THE MAJORITY. Neither is this forum by the way. And I have G-Horn so in no way am I butthurt
