The only thing I want is a way to upgrade our legendary weapons. Bungie has already admitted it was a bad idea to invalidate our previous equipment in the game. But I wont see the point in returning to the game until I KNOW that equipment from TDB wont be nerfed when HoW comes out. They could fix the problem on multiple angles by giving us such an option. It would give those of us who wanted to keep some of our old weapons (ex: fatebringer, im sure youve seen the 12k-liked thread) a way to bring them with us, and prevent the same problem from occurring in future expansions. To help pacify the radical extremists these forums seem to have: I am NOT suggesting that they just GIVE us upgraded weapons. They could implement it in any number of creative ways. Either make it an involved process where you need to do the quest through the weaponsmith, or have us collect specific items, or give us a limit on how many weapons we could upgrade. Anything would work and could even give us an additional thing to do in the game.

  • The gear doesn't get nerfed when DLC comes out. Weapons with higher attack replace the old weapons. Most of the old weapons are still very very good. I use my Devil You Know in HM Crota and it does a lot of damage. Impact determines how much damage a weapon does. Attack increases damage but not enough to where it matters.
