[i]I have been playing since the launch of the beta; ever since the release of the game I have been on the forums.
On various occasions i have provided a number of suggestions and ideas for Bungie. I enjoy playing Destiny, however, now that i have acquired end-game status, i find little to do in-game anymore. My goal is to make a difference and set some gears in motion for better things to come.[/i]
An important note to consider is this: Don't expect a company who is focusing on a new game release (Destiny 2) to adhere to every minimal request in change. Many suggestions are lost in the masses of threads. This should not discourage people from having a voice, and saying what they feel is right. The changes in game that we DO see, are there because we as a community voiced our concerns and Bungie listened.
I'm not asking to spread a thread like a virus and copy+paste it to all corners of the forum to get attention. Bungie is not blind, if they do not reply, it does not mean they do not see what's going on. Remember, [b]a lone light in a dark room shines brightest.[/b]
In my time on the forums, i have dedicated countless hours to my envisioning of an improved Destiny. Not all my ideas are favorable to everyone. There will be people who oppose, and there will be people who discourage, but it is important to understand, that every idea has been carefully thought out.
Below I have created an Archive to showcase my Ideas/Suggestions that i have proposed to Bungie. This list is conveniently placed to pick and choose what you want to read about. If you see something you like in particular, follow the link and it will take you to the original thread. Here you go:
[b]Ammo Synth Shortcut[/b]

[spoiler][b]A fairly simple idea, have the weapon you need extra ammunition for, and have it equipped. Then you can either double tap the touchpad (PS4) or hold it for 2 seconds. That would automatically use a synthesis for your “Currently Equipped” Weapon. You would be able to use the synthesis without opening the menu. If you have no synthesis, it will not work of course.

[b]Buff Notifications[/b]

[spoiler][b]The same way that “Song of flame”, “Gunslinger’s Trance”, and “Chain of Woe” works. You have a text notification stating that you have certain buffs active. It would be more useful and accessible if there are more application for this feature, such as: “You will now gain additional glimmer fighting vex enemies: 7:32 left.” and “Your Ammo Synthesis is ready for use.” (After cool down).

[b]Capture the Flag[/b]

[b]Character RE-Customization[/b]

[b]Dynamic Weather[/b]

[spoiler][b]Well over 5000 votes! Dynamic Weather situations occur randomly and affect gameplay. Some examples include: Dust Storms/Sandstorms on Mars (Reduced Visibility/Slows Character Movement), Hurricanes on Venus (Heavy rain blurs vision and rough winds sways your aim), Blizzards on Earth (Reduced Visibility/Keep moving to avoid frostbite), Lunar Eclipse on the Moon (Darkness EVERYWHERE).

[b]A Vault Update[/b]

[spoiler][b]The Vault is not just a storage unit. It could be a place where you organize all three of your characters. Open up the Vault and have all your characters displayed. Manage their inventory and make transfers quick and easy. Organize items better with the “Take Half” option. This way you can evenly distribute Ammo Synthesis, Glimmer Buffs, and Telemetries.

[b]Fair Crucible RNG Loot[/b]

[spoiler][b]Two Separate loots; Guaranteed and Participation Tickets. Top players in every game get guaranteed loot (Weapons/Armor), EVERYONE undergoes RNG for participation tickets used to by cool stuff (see Participation Rewards Specifics). This way, players can actually receive Weapons/Armor through skill, and even players who did not contribute as much can still reap the spoils of RNG.

[b]Gunsmith Upgrades Legendary Items[/b]

[spoiler][b]The Gunsmith as we know it provides weapons for players level 1-10. Beyond that players would have to rely on drops from Strikes or Crucible. There should be an option with the Gunsmith to upgrade Legendary gear. He would be able to turn 300 weapons into 323, +27 Armor to +30, and +30 armor to +33. The Gunsmith would be perfect for an upgrading service.

[b]Level progression ruined with Vanguard[/b]

[spoiler][b]The current rate of progression is broken. The Vault of Glass had been rendered irrelevant to leveling up. The cause behind it all is the Vanguard/Crucible Gear getting players to level 31 (explained more in detail). Old vanguard/Crucible gear should be added to their shops, and the new gear require level 30 to purchase. This will make the best form of progression available to Destiny alongside many other benefits.

[b]New Raid Mode (Expert Mode)[/b]

[spoiler][b]Shaders should be given the ability to be attached to a single piece of armor as well as the whole set. This would make people look more creative, and finally put to use those useless shaders that nobody uses. But MOST IMPORTANTLY, I believe shaders should be able to be applied to WEAPONS! This would make customization very unique in destiny, and loads more fun to play.

[spoiler][b]If you’ve played GTAV then you’d be familiar with this mechanic. The ability to toggle between 1st person perspective and 3rd person perspective. This would be great, not only for being on top your sparrow, but maybe even walking around the tower or patrolling a planet. Riding your sparrow in the 1st person would make it more exciting.

Lots of good stuff going on these forums buried under the rants of crybabies and the supreme fanboys. Glad to see someone trying to bring the good content up the ladder. There was a good compilation a while back of systems to change the way we evolve our gear (Workbench...) could make a fine addition here. One thing I don't remember seing suggested though is a "Split" system. Maybe its just me but more often than not I feel we could have a better way to split consumables between characters: 1) Either making this part of the inventory shared accross the characters (like glimmer is) or 2) Allow a button to be used and a just move 10 of the selected consumable to the vault: for example my main toon has over 80 Ether seeds, the other two have only 5. Right now we can move all the main's Ether Seeds to the vault and move them to a secondary, but then we will always need to do this when we switch.... its a pain. Or, we could just be able to remove portions of 10 at a time to the vault so that we can split them more evenly.... just a thought.

My idea more revolves around storyline and what I'd like to see in the game for a future expansion. I've seen some people question what the other planets in the solar system will look like in destiny. I'm more interested in the inner machinations of the Traveler. I think one of the best ways to explore that is to reveal (in a future expac) that the Traveler has become infected by Darkness to such a point that the Vanguard believes it could become a threat to the Last City, and threatens to sever the connection between Guardians and the Light. The Guardians are called upon to enter the massive moon-sized Mech and cleanse the Darkness within it. This could be a storyline spanning missions on multiple planets, spawning a greater and deeper grimiore on the Traveler and its history. Potentially the content could lead to upwards to 3 new raids within the Traveler. Sort of like how Blizzard handled ICC in WotLK. This would give us more of an interaction with the one "character" in the game who set the entire chain of events into motion. Right now, the Traveler is just a giant Specter, sitting above the Last City gathering dust and emitting light to repel the only place it is still strong enough to protect. The Traveler is on the box art and we've only had second hand communication with it so far through The Speaker, sparingly so, at best. By ridding the corruption inside, it could strengthen the Traveler to its former glory and further the story to take Humanity, the Awoken and the Exos on the offensive against the Darkness.

Wow, that's are great ideas! Good work & keep adding to this list. I would maybe add an 'outfitter' to quickly save 5 'gear / spec sets' so you you quickly change gear & talent tree for the situation on hand.

The vault would be nice.. imagine if you had all your gear fully organized in one central place.. so you can collect say all 3 legendary damage type sniper rifles. (for nightfall purposes). That would be awesome. Also imagine Atheon at level 33 ohhhh god.

#Deej please pass these along to the dev team. Most of them should already exist in Destiny. I can't fathom how a talented team such as Bungie has overlooked some of these most basic of features, including game types that you pioneered already (firefight).

Never gonna happen, maybe one or 2 things....maybe Why would they improve Destiny making it harder for Destiny 2 to be better Its the basic sordid strategy of keeping expectations low to improve sales of Destiny 2 when it drops. And lets face it, there has to be serious improvement, for Bungie to get past this farce
