Only reason I would ever consider Red Death over Jellyhorn is if you're having issues healing on Crota. Otherwise, Jellyhorn hands down.

Red death is an extremely viable weapon in many strikes and other such things. I mean I can't tell you how nice it is to experience a practically limiteless amount of life. When I run a strike with red death I never worry about dying because I am always at just about full health. When I don't use it I can ussualy deal more damage but I can't be as brave with my actions.

Agreed, but if he wants to get into raids easier I say Gjallarhorn.

That is just poor friends. I maen rarely will me and my friends worry about what guns each other have. Sure a gallyhorn helps but as long as the player behind it has other decent weapons and is a decent player we don't care.

Edited by Wrathful: 1/28/2015 5:10:51 PMI'm saying if he's like many Destiny players who only use LFG for groups. I sometimes play with people I've played with before, but I killed Crota on hard three times last week only using LFG. And a lot of good groups are only looking for someone with Gjallarhorn.

"good" or depend on a specific weapon to achieve the end?

Edited by Wrathful: 1/28/2015 5:25:23 PMEither one, I don't care. As long as he dies in a reasonable amount of time. You're also being a hypocrite. If you need to rely on healing from Red Death to survive.

I never said I relied on it. It is simply a nice alternative. I have just as easily run through many strikes without red death and crota you may use a helm or other items to get life back when you pick up orbs. Either way a healing weapon is ESSENTIAL in hard crota unless you have a sunsinger and can revive.
