Shit I got $20+ a hour as a plumbing apprentice. That's STARTING pay. All I had was a high school diploma. That was doing the construction part of plumbing, I didn't have to go near any dookie the whole time I was there. No debt, starting pay is more than most college graduates (at least at this time) and they pay for your schooling. It's not like plumbing is the only option for a deal like that either; almost any trade has that deal.

You can do this at 18, fresh out of high school.

No you're wrong college or university or you are wasting your life

Not all skills and abilities are gained exclusively through colleges or universities. I left the plumbing job and went into web application development. Everything I learned was through the internet on my own time. I didn't bother getting a degree because I wasn't planning on working for anyone else. I don't make as much as the plumbing job (yet), but I enjoy myself way more. Get to work at home on my own time, spend time with my family whenever and can take time off whenever. I value those more than money, so it depends on what you personally value.

Srry I was kind of mocking the idea that if you don't go to college you're wasting your life that schools push like they are heroine dealers

The sarcasm flew right over my head, lol.
