Opposite reaction: surprised the number is so high.
The article is quick to label such people atheists, but it sounded like they simply did not affiliate with an organized religion. So is this perhaps disenchantment with scandal-ridden churches rather than disbelief in the afterlife?

Which would support my feeling that the issue is organized religion, not JC and the Big Man upstairs.
