Been getting away with cheesing the bridge until now (and its a good thing they fixed it). So now we are doing legit I just had a question about the mechanics. I don't quite understand what causes the Ogres to spawn and come out.
The way we did it last night.
First attempt, with 3 people over to the opposite side, we attempted to get a 4th over but failed. not sure what happened during this, but something caused the mobs on the original side to despawn and for the witches and Ogres to start coming out on the far side.
We died that time, but on the second attempt. We had 3 across the bridge and waited for quite a while and the Ogres didn't come. Eventually we decided they weren't coming so had the 3 people on the original side kill themselves, which did in turn cause Ogres to spawn.
so my question is, what actually is the correct/intended way of doing this encounter ? what triggers the Ogres to actually spawn.
thanks

3 RepliesThe objective is to always get your whole team across one sword at a time, when the first 3 cross over they can then open the bridge on the other side the exact same way. If the remaining members die before crossing the game judges that all the fireteam is across the bridge and spawns the ogres (Ogres will only spawn when all active player's have crossed the bridge). Here's the trick...... send your two strongest across with the first two swords and leave sunsinger warlocks on the original side, once the first two cross the Warlocks wipe, ogres will spawn, warlocks self revive and sniper the ogres. As far as I know at least one of the people that crossed must survive. Hope this helps.
