What do you think more beneficial in control? KDR or SPM?

Let's say two teams are playing iron banner or control. One team is camping one flag and have gun skill and the other team has two flags but lose all their gun fights and feed team A kills. Who should win? The team going for KDR successfully or the team going for score per minute but die constantly? Edit: also don't forget the original question. KDR Vs. SPM. I personally think a person who went flawless and is second on your team did better than the person with the most points but had a .5 KDR like 18-36 or something.

Honestly it depends game to game. I've been in games we lost 20k to 19.8k where our top scorer never capped one zone. In that situation, their kills amounted to shit because the other team controlled 2 most of the match. I've also been in games we won by that margin that the low scorer had a tiny kdr, but they capped the most zones for us and we controlled 2 all game. In an evenly matched game, half of each team will be below 1 on their kdr, so the ones who play objectives the best will win. The thing with control is that if no one tries to cap anything, you're -blam!-ed. But capping makes you a target, both attacking defended zones and standing on the zone while it caps. Some players refuse to take that risk because their kdr is all they care about. So the best answer I can give you is that what is most important is playing as a team, meaning helping attack/defend rather than going lone wolf all game. Also, I don't care if you have 35 kills and a 6 kdr. If you intentionally take A from the other team on Blind Watch, you're garbage. Edit: Also link a profile.
