Well, my understanding is that in control you cap the control points to increase the points per kill. Your team doesn't get any points just for holding the control points. So yeah, holding one point and getting ALL the kills, your team will clearly win.
Controll is still all about kills, just get more or less points per kill based on how much of the map your team has.
In theory you could win control by holding no control points if everyone on your team has zero deaths. Obviously this would not happen in any real game where everyone is trying, but just a statement about how points are scored in that game mode.

Correct. We are not playing king of the hill: the control points are bonus. If you don't need them. You don't need them.

Thanks man. My friends were trying to tell me score per minute is better than KDR. Going super negative but scoring high is hurting your team.
-
Yes. By going super negative you are bleeding points to the other team. You may be scoring a lot but they are scoring more.
-
That being said, i dont know the math but i imagine there is a point where your whole team can be slightly negative but still win because you held 2/3 control points the entire match. Thinking as a team not an individual, you could employ a strategy where one guy can go super negative but ninja cap points to maintain a 2/3 control while the rest of the team plays safe and stays even/slight positive and win. Would be interesting to see someone crunch the numbers. I dont know by what amount points are modified for each control point held.

Holding a point and have 2 people assist and 1 kill will score good bonus points. Think it's 25 or more bonus. That could go a long ways over time.

Im still waiting for more vault space lol.
