I think he means that exotics are way to common and xur keeps selling and there is no point of playing since he has pretty much every exotic since the reason people play is for the exotics and raid gear

Or another reason to play (mine) is to bullshit with my friends while trying to tackle a video game challenge (raids). Getting loot has it's significance, but without the social aspect, wouldn't carry the game by itself.
-
Honestly I think Xur should sell 1 engram weapon and Amour piece for 13 coins each but only can get bought once each week it will keep from every having the same exotics.
-
Who cares if everyone has the same exotic?
-
As stated it would make exotics harder to get if there are random.
-
They are random from xur. Just like they are from ROC, crucible, nightfall, raids... on and on. Sure, he's guaranteed to have them... But you never know which.
-
And one other thing it will encourage more play time if Xur didn't sell the gun you wanted so you can play more to earn
-
Or RNGesus will finally burn you out and you stop.
-
Yea but say for example Xur sells the most op gun in the game now everyone has it makes it worthless to use any other exotic and it will make it to easy to get if Xur sold engrams it will be more random for everyone and will make everyone happier in the end
-
Basically, there's only two exotics that even fit the "OP" mold. IB and ghorn. Everyone has IB now, by popular xur logic. Pretty sure nothing is broke and people are still playing the game. Just like Y2K didn't bring on the end of the world, xur selling exotics won't bring about the end of destiny.
-
I didn't say it would but it just what I think it ruins some of the exotics value that's why I like the exotic bounties and raid exotic
-
Yes I understand everyone has their reasons but has said people do it for loot why do you think people put up with the same strikes everyday just to have a chance at getting one
-
Solely to be better geared when next I raid or do whatever with my team. But if this was a single player game, with no community at all, would you play it over and over and over again just to get a weapon or piece of armor?
-
It's a "mmo" so that single player argument is not valid the whole point to destiny to kill or beat things to get loot like weeklys nightfalls and such and as stated before that's reason YOU PLAY almost every else does it for the loot trust me if everyone has every item no one will play
-
Yah and xur breaks it. You're right.
-
But nothing can be done but it's just a statement no harm done
