To All Who Appose Xür, Come in...

I agree with the argument : I want Xür.

I don't agree with the argument : Don't want Xür.

I feel indifferent/don't care either way.

Check out the argument that the user "ProperJimmy" made, it's pretty accurate. If anyone can muster up an intelligent counter-argument to his, by all means feel free to speak up. I couldn't think of one. Be sure to bump up this post so we can start getting rid of all the people who are for some reason complaining about buying earned weapons instead of earning from a random drop. Post copy/pasted :
Think about it..

Think about it..

Think about it..

Xür is here to help casuals (*noobs), but in return it hurts the hard core player base
Xür definitely helps casual players. It's far from charity though. Casual players don't have time for three characters or farming public events and ROC strikes for strange coins. When Xür comes around they have to ask themselves every time if it's something they really want because the next week he might sell something they feel they need. Look at my game time. I'm far from a casual or a noob but I was very pleased Xür sold Icebreaker because I have never been lucky with the RNG loot system in this game. There are many others who share the same experience as me. You would be far more sympathetic to the plight of people like us if you weren't so lucky. Really though I'm keen to know how your "thinking about it" dreamt up that it hurts hardcore players? Does it hurt you that other players in a cooperative game also have great guns? Does it hurt you that new players are able to improve faster and become more useful team mates? Does it hurt you that crucible can become an even playing field, where you can improve your own skill, because everyone has access to the same equipment?
Think about it..

Think about it..

Think about it..

Also limits progression.
How?! Does it limit your progression to light level 32 because other players obtain the same high quality equipment and are able to help you finish content faster? Does it limit your progression of completing your exotic collection because other players, who have not yet received it from RNG, are able to add it to theirs as well? Does it limit your progression in terms of improvement in crucible because you're playing against players with equipment of an equivalent level?
Think about it..

Think about it..

Think about it..

No Xur means you'll have to work for all your exotics, no just play 3 strikes and buy it right off the bat.
I work for all my exotics. Without Xür I'd still have Suros, Vex, Thunderlord, Dragon's Breath, Truth, Pocket Infinity, Invective, Thorn, Super Good Advice, Bad Juju, and Universal Remote. I still haven't received the guns I want most though. Xür doesn't ruin this game for me. He saves it because otherwise my frustrations with the RNG loot system would stop me from playing. Just because you're fortunate doesn't mean every one with a similar level of commitment to the game shares the same experience as you. The best player in my raid team has over 1000 hours but still no Gjallarhorn.
Think about it..

Think about it..

Think about it..

This is a complaint about the 0% progression in this game , it is not just about Xur. There needs to be more of an achievement in this game for the more seasoned players to strive for.
Obvious paths of progression in Destiny: - Complete console trophies/achievements specific to the game - Max out all six possible subclasses - Achieve level 32 on each of the three classes - Increase your grimoire score - Improve your skills and crucible rankings - Collect exotic and raid gear I have significant play time and not even close to achieving all these. The game is not massive, despite assertions from many a fanboy that it is an MMO. If you feel you've run out of progression already then perhaps it's a good sign you're putting too much time into the game and you can play less and take up another game or another hobby. Feeling "hurt" by Xür as a "seasoned player" is another good indication.
Think about it..

Think about it..

Think about it..
Serious question: did you think about anything you wrote or did you just want to rant because you somehow don't feel special anymore because other players get to have the same guns as you?
