You do know that Oculus Rift is only for PC.. And Destiny is only on Xbox and Playstation..

Ya, I wouldn't get a rift as yet wait for the consumer product to come out first. Then wait for support for some good games, that is if your wanting to play on pc. Sony and Microsoft both have a VR headset in the works for their systems. But likely hood this destiny won't have any VR support when they do.. Maybe destiny 2.
