For everyone saying supers allow guardians the upper hand I will got though this.
Fist of Havoc: Spartan's could easily run out of the way, seeing as the can run at about 35 mph
Nova Bomb: Same as FoH
Bubble: Spartans don't need to go in it.
Gunslinger: A guardian would need to be able to hit the Spartan, let alone the fact a spartan could kill them before they shot, or just hide away as they were trained it stealth and covert ops.
Blade dancer: A spartan could easily wrestle a Bladedancer down, taking their at blade or throwing it out of their grasp. Also, they could outrun them.
Sunsingers: Most this does is a revival, may be able to sticky, but Spartans reaction times are quick enough to be able to dodge them.

Are you talking about the Spartan II or all Spartans?
-
Across the board, all Spartans have the same augmentations (except spartan I's). The only big difference would be Spartan III's go there augmentations chemically, so it was cheaper.
-
I thought spartan II were more advanced Than any spartan program.
-
They had extensive training from when they were ten years old, the other Spartans didn't have that. That's basically the only advantage, other then a thyroid implant that made them taller, other Spartans didn't get that either.
-
Gjlarhorn however you do spell it try out run that bitch
-
Op never stated Gjallarhorn, as well as the fact that Spartans are fast enough to be on par with a missile. Chief if it in the book fall of reach, and he isn't even the fastest spartan.
-
All I here is pussy you run away from everything you don't deserve to be called Spartan
-
So dodging lethal fire instead of allowing it to hit you is being a pussy.
-
So guardians are lethal and scare you to run so fast?
-
I never seen gooder grammar in me life!!

Edited by j878oe: 1/16/2015 4:59:35 AMMost likely talking about me lol :'l
-
All abilities are worthless to armor lock, except if there is an effect that's left over.
-
They can't immediately start running at 35 mph, if they came around the corner and got hit by a FoH they would die.
-
No, but the pace at which they start running to increase to 35 is pretty quick, not to mention a spartan wouldn't just charge past a corner. Every generation of Spartans has always taken strict military training, especially the II's since they trained from children.
-
Who's to say the guardians haven't? From what we see in the game they've been alive for centuries.
-
The walls around the city came up around a century when the game begins. Twilight gap happened shortly after the walls came up, and they've stated many Guardians died in that battle, the only survivor being Shax, effectively requiring the need for new Guadians, meaning the chances f a couple centuries year old guardian is very unlikely, combined with the fact that it hasn't been stated anywhere Guardians can live for more than normal life expectancy.
-
Yes they can
-
Did you forget the part where the speaker said "Human lifespan tripled" Thats a normal human, i'm sure guardians are capable of living for hundreds of years.
-
Edited by ToxicKi11or: 1/16/2015 4:15:32 AMPart of Halo lore is that they have expanded life spans significantly as well the Spartans can live up to 150 years.
-
That was during the golden age.
-
Not if there Spartan fours. They weren't genetically modified. Just the best of the best.
-
Spartan IV's did recurve the same augmentations as the II's
-
I will admit I maybe wrong on that but still it wouldn't be to the same extent as the lls and llls. As the lVs where full grown adults when they became Spartans. There body's wouldn't be able to adapt to the changes as well. That's why Halsey went with children in the first place. The Spartan llls were the kids Halsey passed over for minor issues and both Spartan lls and llls had a lot not live past augmentation.
