I wish all missions had as much time put into them as this one. Then the "story" probably would have been successful lol.

The one thing that bugged me the most with that mission, you were dead for a long time. Ghost says "we're going to see a lot of things you won't understand." doesn't explain anything... Ever... And you have zero reaction to this! Okay, just another day I guess.

Yeah, its the only mission that feels like it was specifically designed for the game. The rest of the missions seem like they would be free dlc missions or something, where all they had to do to make them was put waypoints on the map and set where and which enemies spawn. Considering bungie designed most of the halo games, this is very sad.

Yeah you would think they would of even added cutscenes in more missions or hell if the first time you did the raids or strikes... Maybe the vanguards or the stranger come and help fight Phogoth with you anything like that lol.

That would be sweet. There's no missions where you team up with npc's at all. Even the ones where you have to "guard" the dinkernator, all you really do is clear the enemies out of the room because they can't harm your ghost anyways.

Yeah I think that's where they missed the mark on the immersion. This game is better with other people and friends but why stop there. Adding Npc's that the player gave 2 shits about (because of story) would of made it a lot better lol.
