SMGs and Lasers/Plasmas. Sword would be nice, but It'd have to take up something important to make up for the sheer strength, probably like secondary and heavy, or heavy and primary. Something like that.
Other types of pistols, would be nice. Why are there only Revolver-based Handcannons?
Throwing weapons... Eh, kinda-sorta. could be cool, but Warframe has been doing that all over the place, so lets not copy.
Grenade Launchers could be implimented as a 'primary rocket launcher' style weapon. slow-firing fully auto (think the Suros when zoomed) AoE, Lobbed ballistics, decent damage threshold, but a lack of precision damage to make up for their AoE damages.
Heavy Snipers would be cool, but the potential of them would essentially limit them to Single-Round, Bolt-Action Super Snipers. One-shot + Penetration / Icebreaker style explosive death. Something interesting
RAIL CANNONs. This is something I want. Truly high-tech, SciFi weaponry to reflect that Destiny takes place in the FUTURE. As it stands, the only things to show this are... Hard Light and Fusion Rifles. Everything else, literally everything else (except for impossible things such as infinite ammo weapons) we have now.
Class Specific weapons could be cool. Though personally, in my mind, they come off as something akin to melee-only weapons. Something to add some flair to the game, without being hampering of the other weapons.
