This is my first post ever or in as long as I can remember but..............ASCENDANT MATERIALS

For day 1 players, for the Destiny veterans Ascendant materials have become obsolete (as have the Daily Heroics). We have an infinite amount of them but nothing to spend them on. That's obvious you say. What should be done you say? Well, the fear of 331 Vault of Glass primary guns in Bungie's eye is the prospect of them being QUITE powerful and borderline overpowered especially because Fatebringer, Vision of Confluence and Atheon's Epilogue are already some of the game's most used guns (partially due to Nightfall burns). How about a special reward to us high level day one veterans? Make the VOG raid primary guns available, BUT make them inaccessible to the newer players who haven't paid their dues by........charging 150 or so Ascendant materials for the ability to upgrade each gun. That number either made you gasp at it's enormity or made you chuckle sarcastically at the fact you have PLENTY of necessary materials in your vault (which needs to be upgraded but I'm sure this has been stated a trillion times already). Also Daily Heroics can regain value by.......handing out Radiant materials as a reward. It's not like a potential for 2-6 Radiant Shards a day would make them TOO easy to get. P.S. I already have a 32 titan plus 60 shards in the Vault for my Warlock so this isn't even a personal request.....just the logical one. The economy has to adjust to function as the needs fluctuate so that every activity and currency withholds value.
Just some thoughts.
