What Crota Primary do you want most?

Oversoul Edict (Arc Pulse Rifle)

112

Fang of Ir Yūt (Arc Scout Rifle)

852

Word of Crota (Void Hand Cannon)

1687

Abyss Defiant (Solar Auto Rifle)

413

Necrochasm (Arc Auto Rifle)

454

When Hard Raid drops, there'll be five new goodies at least to pick up along the way, in addition to the new ship and potential shader/emblem. Similar to Vault of Glass, one of each primary weapon will drop (legendaries all, don't worry about losing your Exotic slot), with elemental damage. Which has you most hyped? GUN INFO Oversoul Edict is similar to Praedyth's Timepiece in being an Arc Pulse Rifle. Fires full auto, and can shoot straight theough Knights' Wall of Darkness. I approve. Fang of Ir Yūt is the Scout Rifle, with Arc damage. It can mark targets when hit, and has the Third Eye perk. Pretty damn solid. Word of Crota, the Void Hand Cannon, has a VERY good perk where getting critical hits will gain some ammo back in the magazine. Not as good as Black Hammer's perk, kind of a cross between that and Performance Bonus, but it'll still have one of if not the largest hand cannon mag sizes in game when aimed well. I know, I know, it doesn't have Firefly, but this will undeniably be one of the best HC's around. Abyss Defiant is the Solar Auto Rifle. This one in particular has reeeally nice perks. Focused Fire, aka Suros Regime perk. And it can stun Wizards. Sold. Finally, Necrochasm. More or less the Mythoclast equivalent for this raid, as it's an Exotic that only drops in Hard Raid. To get this beast you'll need a fully upgraded Eidolon Ally, as only the component drops. But once you have it, it not only deals Arc damage but also causes enemies to frequently explode like a Cursed Thrall when killed by a headshot. And speaking from personal Eidolon Ally experience, headshot kills are definitely going to be the majority of kills. It's important to remember that these probably will be the weapons we end up using in House of Wolves against the Fallen, and guess what shields they mostly use? Arc. Bungie's planning ahead for us this time.
