I saw your "titan" post and decided to do some reading on your stories. Just a question/remark, why did ricochet and fault switch characters; I may be wrong, but that is how it seemed to me

...it seems like they switched? Say more. I'm trying to keep track of alot of characters and tones and personalities (I've got stuff scattered all over, trying to tell the story of a group in little pieces as an ode to Bungie's style of story telling) so if you noticed something doesn't fit together or a character switches personalities I want to know more about it. So I can fix it! What are you seeing? Is it their tone of voice, decisions... Fault and Ricochet are very close, as characters. Brotherly, you could say. Sides of a coin. So they should be similar, not interchangeable or confusingly alike. Thanks so much for the feedback!

Edited by Wreking-cru_tew: 1/7/2015 2:30:36 PMAlso, it seemed in this one ricochet seemed more inclined to deviate from plans than sticking to a set plan and sending others to meet the enemy head on rather than himself

...but the confusion as to who is who in this story? That's just me writing sloppily. lol

Oh! I need to clean it up then---Fault fights with the hand cannons, and gives Ricochet one at the end. I need to make that more clear. As for the deviation from plans, that part is intentional. Ricochet is very stick to the plan, by the numbers unless it's him running in first. This comes out in the other stories in various ways. When they fight Angel, he gets fried first. Against the Cabal he was the one to jump into the Phalanx. Against the walker tank, he was the run who broke cover first. He's a hypocrite. Fault likes to be unique and do things his own way, Ricochet likes everyone to do things by the plan so that he can absorb the risk. He's selfish, in the sense that he'd rather die first.

No actually, it was my bad, I meant what I said about the headlong charge, but my quick read got them confused. It wasn't your writing, I went back to see exactly where I got confused and it was my bad

So, to me it seemed like you said that fault had gone to meet the charge and ricochet had dismembered the vandal with the dual hand cannons but then at the end ricochet runs back and fault hands him a hand cannon
