It seems fine to me at 323. However, the idea that any of my guns or armor, especially my legendaries, have been or may be rendered useless sucks to the point that I'm not excited for the new DLC. What is the harm in having the option to build on what suits our play style and makes the game more enjoyable? Does anyone really enjoy grinding and grinding and re-grinding after grinding just to figure out that the gear that you randomly ended up isn't as much fun to use than gear that is obsolete? It was fine this last time around because it was nice to see more variety, but I find myself not upgrading DLC guns just because I don't want to waste materials (and literally days of my life) after being forced to start from scratch. For example, I still prefer Shadow Price, Vision of Confluence, Swarm, Hezen Vengeance, LIGHT/Beware, etc. over all of my other "new and improved" legendaries, but now I almost have to use higher dmg guns that I don't like in high level raid/NF/weekly. The exception would be raid armor. I can understand the need to obtain higher level armor to achieve the light level in order to complete raids more efficiently. For guns, however, I HATE having to grind just to get a random (and often terrible) legendary gun to accompany my new gear for higher level play. IMO, if Bungie really wants to retain players and keep them engaged, they shouldn't follow the current trend and allow players to somehow upgrade our legendary gear (including VoG) like we do with exotics. TL;DR: I can understand having to pick up raid armor to get to higher light levels, but please don't F with my guns. Let me upgrade them.
