Hey guys. I'm really struggling to settle on a sensitivity in Destiny. What works with one weapon doesn't with another, and then doesn't work so well in one gametype compared to another. For example, in skirmish a low sensitivity and a pistol works well for me as you often know where the enemy is coming from. If I take the same weapon and sensitivity into clash I get torn a new one by people blinking in from all directions. So I raise sensitivity and the kills start to ramp up. But then I try and snipe and it all goes to shit again.
I think what I'm trying to ask is - what sensitivity/weapon combo do you uber players with decent k/d use and do you swap around depending on weapon and game types, or just stick with it?
-
this is Bungies fault not yours, they failed to add separate sensitivity adjustments options for ADS and Look sens...that said they should up the maxsens far beyond 10 because that is WAAAY too slow for a lot of people inculding me..

Lower sensitivity helps aim, all pro cod and halo players use low sensitivity. So around 3 to 6 range
-
I use lucky 7 sensitivity.

Edited by xX SOLFIRE Xx: 1/6/2015 8:51:13 PMI use 10 and never change for anything... 10 isnt even fast enough for my preference. I wouldnt say i am great or anything but usually 1.5 or better KD in cruciblah. Also i use every weapon type but mostly stick with scout and snipe if that makes a difference. Its all about preference though cause i know some people use 1-3 and do way better than me, but if i went that low i would be 0-50 in the cruciblah

I use 10.
-
i just look forward
-
All character are over 2.0 max K/D being a 2.8 and I use 1 sensitivity
-
Start low, most players have it way too high for thier skill levels , allot of pros have low sensitivity often, I'd suggest starting at 3 and gradually raising until your performance suffers then tail it back

Edited by BannedMythicAccount: 1/6/2015 8:49:20 AM2.6 k/d and I use 3 on the settings. However I've been an Xbox gamer all my life and the switch to Playstation, analog controller placement is new to me. The xbox controller is also better on finer shot placement, [within sniper precision for me]. I tested out my gameplay on counter-strike go on PC. Where the aim assist is off [or very low] for both controllers.I perform much much better on the xbox controller when it comes to precise shooting. The playstation controller just ain't cutting it overall for finer placement. [zoomed in].

I use 9.

Default

2.25 k/d, currently in the top 1% for k/d on playstation. I play on 5, no more no less.
-
2.24 kd and I use 4
-
I play on 5 but i think it matters how you predominately play. I find that on 5 i can switch pretty well between close up and mid range
-
5 just 5
-
My k/d is slightly average at 1.6 and I don't play crucible much, but I hover around 2 or 4. It usually depends on the situation or my weapon load out.
-
I used to be 5, but I just went max. My kd is booming this week.
-
I think I got mine on 10 or 9
-
I use 1
-
1.97 K/D I use a 5.

Get good with 9 or 10. I play on 9 because it feels the most natural. Youll thank me in a few months. Youre crippling yourself playing on a low setting. Doesnt matter which game mode or gun.

I end up at about 5, it's the easiest balance for sniping and mid range with Thorn, if I were to use shotguns I'd probably jack it up a little higher.

As you play more and more slowly ramp up your sensitivity until you reach the highest. Then as you begin to master the maps as start playing more efficiently and cleverly slowly and incrementally reduce the sensitivity until you are between 5-8. IMO you should settle on the sensitivity where you are able to instinctively understand your position and orientation and your quick reactions don't over/under shoot expectations.

1.7 K/D not the best I know, but better than most. I use 5 sensitivity. It all comes down to preference at the end of the day.
