You can either go to college, and just get a degree and live your life happy, trying to be something else. You can dump her if you feel as if she is holding you back somehow, and possibly join. You can ask your friends and family, because seeking advice on this website is pure idiocy, so many trolls. Why is it your life long dream to join the Marines? Honestly? We Americans seek nothing but power, and will try to take over anyone, just to obtain it. It is not the life it used to be. I personally can care less about servicing my country, because I don't really love it, and my biological aunt was a captain in the Air Force. Whatever you do, as long as YOU are happy, then so be it. This is a decision YOU must make with your family, friends, and girlfriend.

  • I'm sure he probably means that in regards to the fact that he doesn't want to go to other countries to fight their wars. Or doesn't want to fight for the rich and elite. These days most wars fought by us have nothing to do with our security or defense. Let's not get into the whole 9/11 debate and whether or not we allowed it to happen. The fact remains, Iraq had nothing to do with it. We had no reason going there and should have taken care of Bin Laden when we had the chance at Tora Bora instead of letting him run. So if he just means he doesn't want to fight for BS, I support that. If we were honestly attacked and had to defend ourselves I don't know many people that wouldn't support that action.

I'd admonish you to realize that many people born in America, do not actually care for America, they are just living here momentarily. "If you don't love your country get out please" has to be the most ignorant, idiotic thing one can say. So many factors contribute to a person being able to migrate out of their country successfully.

  • No factors needed, just pack and go and don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.1 simple form is all that is needed to renounce your citizenship and not all that hard to fill out or process as long as your annual income is not in the millions(harder for the rich).

I refuse to believe that you are this stupid lol. There are many factors that can determine whether or not you will be moving to a new country. Filling out a form on a piece of paper isn't as imperative as many others. 1. Make sure your passport is up to date and you have a visa that will allow you to move to a country . 2. Make a plan, and decide what to do with your current home if you own it. Will you rent it out? 3. Consider looking for accommodation in that new country as soon as possible. 4. Set up a bank account that works for you, to transfer money between countries. 5. Find out about your driver's license in the new country. Will it work? 6. Provide the appropriate amount of notice to your place of work. 7. Before you move to the country, you must first take a vacation there, to determine whether or not you like it. 8. You must do a thorough background check on the country, from crime to housing, to many other things. 9. Learn about the country's immigration laws and procedures, because some have VERY strict laws. 10. Be aware of language barriers. 11. If you have children, moving overseas will be challenging. 12. Determine how accepting certain countries are of your nationality/ethnic background. I can research so many factors that can make or break a person from leaving their country.

  • Implying anybody can leave that easily. It isn't exactly cheap to move out of a country.
