Destiny Custom Weapons - Fan Artists Welcome!

Hey everyone, You won't know this but I'm a graphic designer and 3d modelller. I wondered if you'd all be interested in trying something fun? [b]If you have weapon ideas, post them here with a sketch or without and I'll pick one a week to model and render out.[/b] You could use this format if you want to, I've left out things like Stability and Impact but feel free to embellish it and make it your own, along with names of sights it uses, materials needed to upgrade etc...   • I know this post was made 3 years ago but nonetheless here's one of mine; Weapon Type: Scout Rifle Weapon Name: Timeless Query Tagline: "Every round fired from this weapon a clue… every enemy killed a victim… every wielder a key, o'bearer mine." Damage Type: Arc Rarity: Mythic Major Perk #1 - "Sum of Reality": This weapon can be fired in full-auto or semi-auto. Precision kills instantly reload this weapons magazine and reserves. Major Perk #2 - "Blessing of a Broken Wish": Consistent precision hits increase damage after each shot. When "Sum of Reality" is active, precision hits refill the magazine until the player reloads. How to get: Drops from only the highest level endgame activities. Archetype: Low-medium RoF, Medium-high impact Scout.

    • Alright, i gotta long one for you guys, i've had this idea since Rise of Iron in D1, and i've been improving it since then, and i've put it into D2 format and even gone as far to Give it a masterwork Catalyst (It would be really cool if someone could make a 3D model for it, tbh) Name: [b]Sound and Silence[/b] Type: Handcannon Foundry: Veist Element: Solar Impact: 100 Rpm: 80 Range: 100 Stability: 15 Handling: 15 Reload Speed: 8 Magazine: 1 Zoom: 18 Recoil Direction: 100 Aim assist: 50 Max Reserves: 40; Crucible Spawn Reserves: 8 PVP Damage: Precision: 250 ; Body: 125 Power Level on Drop: 385 This Weapon would be obtained through a Quest which involves you doing a 375 power level mission on the Almighty where you have to kill a Cabal Commander that's starting to rise to power, During this Mission you detonate the Almighty, ultimately destroying it, but Ghost manages to grab an Energy Cell that was Powering the Almighty before it exploded. This energy cell is inplanted into a gun, and this is what you get Intrinsic Perk: [b]The Sound[/b] This Weapon has NO Damage falloff and Infinitely Pierces through Targets and Shields (Phalanx shields, Knight's Wall of Darkness shields, Vanquisher shields, etc) This Weapon also is unneffected by any Reload Speed Increase/Decrease (This includes instant reloads, such as Rally Barricades, Lunafaction Rifts, etc) Magazine Perk: [b]Ultra High Caliber Energy Round[/b] Shots fired from this weapon are .1500 Caliber Energy Rounds that causes Astonishingly High Flinch, and shots make an absurdly loud sound when shot. (In crucible the enemy team could hear it from across the map) Exotic Trait: [b]Silent Burst[/b] Getting a precision kill causes an explosion (This Explosion deals kinetic damage) Exotic Trait: [b]The Silence[/b] Getting 2 kills in one shot with this weapon put's 2 bullets into the magazine (not from reserves), getting 3 kills in one shot puts 4 bullets into the magazine, getting 4 kills in one shot puts 5 bullets into the magazine, etc Masterwork Catalyst and Catalyst upgrade: Masterwork Catalyst is obtained by getting multikills with any weapon (0.5% Chance for it to drop every multikill) Catalyst Upgrade is obtained by getting 50 multikills with Sound and Silence. Catalyst Upgrade: +3 Reload Speed. Catalyst Upgrade Perk: [b]Super Sonic Sound[/b] Getting a multikill with the Explosion from [b]Silent Burst[/b] makes the next round in the mag deal 20x the damage, and if it kills the target it causes a Massive explosion. Design: Veist Handcannon, design takes heavy inspiration from the overall look and reload animation of the King's Fall raid Handcannon: Zaouli's Bane

      • Weapon Name: Thundershock "In case of system overload, follow these simple steps: Calmly drop the weapon. Run like hell." [i]Appearance[/i]: similar to "Tomorrow's Answer", but instead of yellow, it is navy blue, with electric blue lights and electricity occasionally coursing through it. It has a battery pack on top, which is yellow with black stripes, and says "Caution" written in red letters. The battery pack has electricity bouncing off of it. It also has a symbol on it that reads "Warning" and underneath it lies those pictures they put on electric fences, of the guy getting electrocuted. Level:40 Damage: Arc Attack: 350-390 Mag: 2 Blast Radius: 90 Velocity: 40 Stability: 45 Rate of Fire: 7 Reload: 50 First Row: -Agressive Launch -Soft Launch -Linear Compensator Second Row: -Clown Cartridge -Spray and Play -Field Scout Exotic Perks: Danger: High Voltage: Rounds fired from this rocket leave an Area of Affect damage field that damages enemies over time (on impact, summons Stormcaller's Storm Grenade) System Overload: Last Round in the mag gains bonus velocity, and increases blast radius. Increase radius from the Storm Grenade affect as well. I really like this exotic, let me know what you think.

            • Another one. Everyone seems to be doing Khvostov Exotics so I thought up what would be the best for it. Thought the sight was cool but broken so I thought up a perk for improving the sight, and moving while shooting is a lot more fun so I thought to make a perk that would make that easier. Also, looked it up and found out that "Khvostov" means "tail" in Russian. I thought that was stupidly close to "tale" so yeah... Our Tale Auto Rifle “It won’t be our last” [i]Ghost[/i] 0: Kinetic Damage 1: The Infiltrator (Improved Stealth), The Rampart (33% More Flinch) 2: Rangefinder 3: Extended Magazine, Quickdraw, Braced Frame 4: Pathfinder (Increased Accuracy while mobile) Hidden Perk: ADS at an opponent tracks them for a short period of time RoF: 80 Impact: 20 Range: 45 Stability: 50 Reload: 60 Mag: 28-35-42. Note Stealth means how often you appear on your radar, usually referring to crouching and invisibility. It's supposed to be a Silencer Ballistic.

              • I've been doing some posts on another page, but this ones much bigger so I'll be posting here now. I have a couple I'll show now, but I'm still refining some other ideas. Also if anyone needs I can help with mechanics on any of the ideas you have, because I tend to try to make Exotics that feel Exotic, and make them not too broken. Something More Sidearm “I was a servant too. I was an instrument of war, bound to the will of a lesser master. But I learned to be…” Cayde-6 0: Solar Damage, Something More (Last Round is a Shotgun Pellet) 1: Aggressive Ballistics, Smooth Ballistics, Smart Drift Control 2: Final Round 3: Explosive Rounds, Braced Frame, Reinforced Barrel 4; Focused Fire, Hip Fire Thought the quote was cool, so I thought it needed something more :). The Last Round's Shotgun Pellet isn't affected by Explosive Rounds and Focused Fire damage if anyone was wondering. Settle Brag Sniper Rifle “We have a better destiny” Aurash and most COD players 0: Void Damage, Better than Yours (Sight does not glare while aiming down sight crouched for 3 seconds) 1: Smooth Ballistics, CQB Ballistics, Aggressive Ballistics 2: Take a Knee 3: Injection Mold, Quickdraw, Snapshot 4: Crow’s Nest (Crouching improves Radar. Crouching makes you invisible on Radar) RoF: 17 Impact: 31 Range: 84 Stability: 42 Reload: 31 Aim Assist: 53 I don't think this is what the quote intended but I figured a Sniper that was a more refined Patience and Time was in order. Instead of making you invisible visually you become invisible on the radar. Its supposed to work more like a Call of Duty Sniper except the fact that it needs a Head Shot to kill instead of the other variants in the game that can kill with body shots.

                Chronokeeper- Exotic Sniper Rifle " It can bring any guardian through time, leaving each man changed and each soul reborn...." -Legend of the Chronokeeper Burn: Void High Impact Low Rate of Fire Stability: 61 Range:83 Reload: 42 Magazine size: 4 Ballistic Upgrades: Field Choke Smart Drift Control CQB Ballistics Exotic Perk 1- [b]Timescar[/b] Precision hits with this weapon traps the target in stasis slowing their movement speed by 60% for 3 seconds. Major Perk 1: Triple Tap Perk Tree: Snapshot Perfect Balance Field Scout (increases magazine size by 1 and reserve ammo by 5) Exotic Perk 2: [b]Timerip[/b] Precision kills with this weapon causes the target to explode causing damage and leaving a scar in its wake that applies the stasis effect to all enemies in the radius. Enemies killed by the explosion cause a scar to form. The icon for the first exotic perk would be like a claw mark from a tiger. The icon for the second exotic perk would be an open tear like one in a paper. This weapon might look a little OP, and I think you'd be right. The Sniper rifle is black and grey with clockwork around it. It has the machinery and structures of Venus on the sides. The scope has a white light outlining it an when aimed in it is green and the reticle is a block with a smaller block in the middle. The magazine is like a regular sniper magazine but with the same blocky structures of Venus on it. The barrel of the rifle is normal with the spiky protrusions of the Venus structures going along it. (The Base for the Sniper Rifle is the one they used for the Patience and time. I am very proud of this creation an I hope you will choose it.

Description: "Works for the Good, Kills the Bad, and avoids the Ugly entirely." Perk One: Unflinching. Perk Tree One: Aggressive Ballistics, Accurized Ballistics, and Field Choke. Exotic Perk: Crack Shot. ADS results in extreme stability and extended range, while chained kills increase overall damage for a short time. Perk Tree Two: Reinforced Barrel(Increased Range and Inpact, Lower mag size.), Armor-Piercing Rounds, and High-Caliber Rounds. Grimoire Description: The personal favorite of a world-weary Titan on the Martian wastes, this gun is said to have an odd propensity for jamming or malfunctioning in the hands of Hunters, who are drawn to it in favor of its vintage design. The explanation for this effect is still unknown.
