A thousand times, choose The Calling. PVE: both guns are alright in the sense that their perks are rather balanced. With The Calling, you can quickly eliminate enemies with precision shots, especially with Outlaw where reloading is faster with precision kills. Atheon's Epilogue with its Glass Half perk will be useful. So for PvE it depends PVP: It is up to you but as precision weapon guy, I'd go with the Calling for several reasons. 1) Third Eye: In PvP, radar is such an essential tool, especially when you ads and radar is off, you will always need to keep track of enemies. With Third Eye, that problem is solved. 2) Precision, stability and fire rate: The Calling has a faster fire rate than other scout rifles I have seen or used. This allows for swift dispatch of enemies. Now since your main character is a Titan, I would be led to believe your Armour stat is high, which would benefit AR usage greatly as I feel that it is about "shooting under fire". However, I feel that Atheon's Epilogue is truthfully, a pea shooter: 1) impact: the impact is as low as a pit. The enemy will probably kill you first or run away before you kill him. 2) stability: the gun has a high fire rate. Coupled with its low stability ( until you level it up more), this guns is not gonna get you that many headshots If I ever had to choose an AR for PvP that also has low impact, but better stability, I'd pick Eidolon Ally. Other good guns would be some blue rarity guns, especially the ones from the dlc. They served me well in iron banner for the ar headshot bounty Hence I would recommend The Calling, but it is up to you if you prefer the Epilogue.
