No. The number of people AFKing from Strikes and Crucible will become unbearable, as loot will have some monetary value then. People will farm the crap out of it then. Anyone played D3..?

To add to this: I like the concept of the Eris lvl 4 "exchange" ability (i.e. exchange Radiants for a small fee). Bungie should include Ascendant mats to that, for example with an exchange rate of 10:1 (10 Ascendant will get you 1 Radiant).
