Personally, I like the idea of in-game trading. I appreciate grinding for your stuff, but hear me out. If I buy an exotic engram for my titan and it's hunter gear and my friend buys one for his hunter and gets titan gear, we should be able to trade them. We did pay the exact same amount for them. Also, if 2 guys raid together and need different pieces of armor to get to 32 and they both get what the other needs and don't get what they themselves need, they should be able to trade. The grind was the same for both players in that case. I don't think we need a fair trade mediator, though. How I do my business should be no one else's concern and it's up to me to negotiate a good deal.

about the engrams, thats pure gambling and you should know this upon buying it, random drops from a raid though should be tradeable, so long as you dont leave the fireteam

Edited by falcon8117: 1/4/2015 6:02:18 AMI would be OK with random drop trading within raid fireteams and potential regulations associated with that. But about the engrams, you technically traded for the engrams in the first place (yes, buying something is a form of trading for those who didn't know). Since both trades were of equal amount for the engrams, that would be an equal trade (i.e. titan armor for hunter armor). I do agree that you're gambling when you buy engrams, though.

Or just keep trying for the one you need.

You can't honestly say that if that happened and there were an in-game trading system that you wouldn't take advantage of it. No one can!

If there were more items worth trading yes but not as is which is why there is no trading
