10000 likes to petition an Equal Quality Trade System.

Exotic for exotic, legendary for legendary, ascendant for ascendant, etc. okay bungie? You want us to grind. FINE! Go add a broker/vendor in tower that charges a glimmer commission fee depending on the quality of the item. All traded weapons or armor progress will reset. And trade vouchers will only drop rarely and randomly. (Praise RNG-sus!) Only one item can be traded per voucher from both parties. For those of you who don't know what a voucher is, it is a pass that allows you to redeem a transaction Let me emphasize "rare" because a lot of people still don't understand this concept and insist that people will exploit this system. It would be a waste of your time to invest in playing destiny for an opportunity to get a trading voucher let alone a gallarhorn if you ever get one, just to sell it. Edit* addressing some concerns. People with inadequate arguments please refrain from commenting. Unless you've read AND comprehend this entire message More info here if you want to read that addresses haterz addressing real world trading.
Would it be fair if I have two gallahorns and want to give my friend one? I feel it is, Especially when the trade vouchers would drop as exclusively as an exotic bounty. To limit exploitation, add in a bunch of factors that would make trading a pain in the ass; that the only way you could do it is for BOTH parties to have a voucher, Have a ton of glimmer. Basically you could only trade once in a blue moon and the opportunity would only present itself to the most dedicated players. As for the real world currency for a gallahorn. Any one who seriously plays the game long enough for a gallahorn to drop is not likely to want to get rid of it for actual money. Especially when trading vouchers themselves are as scarce as an exotic. Maybe more scarce. Also, I have two gallarhorns and it is ridiculous that some people who play longer than i and still dont; And I can't just give it away to one of my friends for say his... hard light? With the amount of time I've invested into the game I would not throw away an opportunity ( to trade my Gjallarhorn for say another exotic I really want) for real world currency. Not a likely senario, I'm sure it could happen though. For an large amount of money. But people aren't likely to pay a high value for a gallahorn with the chance that xur will have it the next week. Also there are millions of people playing this game that have gallarhorn. How high could the price even get?
Idk... let's hear some creative regulating to prevent real world trading.

 • With the small amount of content that destiny has, that fact that people are begging for a trading system is really only a symptom of a larger problem. Lets be real and agree that the role rng plays in destiny is failing. RNG is actually a good thing in most games, it complements a well thought out economy and keeps higher tier items "higher tier". However, in destiny's case, exotics are more prolific than any other class (solely speaking about weapons here). We obviously dont see people rushing to the forums ranting and raving on how amazing the legendary machine gun they got for reaching crucible rank 3 (were all looking at you zombie apocalypse), but you can find more than your fair share of posts about omgmybffjill gjallahorn,thorn,tlw,icebreaker,suros,____insert dime a dozen commonzotics here. The fact of the matter is that exotics are not only praised for their quality, but for their quantity, and having a trading system in destiny would not hinder nor accelerate a system that, when heavily based on rng, everyone will eventually have everything. TL;DR- There isnt enough content in Destiny for a trading system to abuse. Its not a trading system that should be frowned upon, its Destiny's economy or lack there of. P.S. I understand why they put in Commondations and Raid specific materials, but for the love of joo no hoo, there were better ways of going on about it.
