Before the game came out Deej was a folk hero.
Now... he has no power and is trotted out as a mouth piece for higher ups. I gey the impression that were he allowed to, he'd speak clearly with no equivocation on most of the issues we raise.
However, as an agent of the powers that be, he can't say anything that smells like an admission of culpability for misleading us on what this game was truly about

I'm inclined to agree. He does most of his best work at conventions where he does a solid job of explaining what's going on.
