just finished crota raid legit and.....
I got two shards I don't know what to feel......
Nothing even in the mailbox.....

It happens. I got 2 shards or energies for each of my 3 characters. Next week we'll fair better (hopefully). It's just RNG.

I ran CE twice and have a full set of raid gear for my whorelock and Light of the Abyss.

I killed Crota 3 times this week on my different characters and got a combined total of 7 Shards from him. Gg Bungie.

It's frustrating yes, but makes it all the more special when you get that sweet, sweet loot. (I'm talking about you Hunger of Crota, I want you).

I've killed Crota 9 times over the last 3 weeks w/ a combo of legit and cheeses and have gotten 2 radiant shards/energy roughly 5 of the times. The other 4 I actually got good drops.

The 3 Crota Kills with loot this week yielded 4 energy, 2 shards and Song of Ir Yut. In total I think I got 18 energy, 4 shards, Song of Ir Yut and Hunter chest piece. I only needed 12 shards to drop this week get to level 32 but now I have to wait another week. Wish I hadn't slacked on Eris and got to level 4 as I have 30 energy sitting there useless.

1 ReplyI'm starting to believe there's something to the cheese for good reward, legit for nothing theory. I'm impartial to the cheering, I'd actually prefer the legit way as cheering can sometimes take longer than just killing him. But last cheese rewarded two fantastic drops on one kill. Last legit rewarded two shards. It just doesn't make sense. Everywhere you look in the game, cheese and terrible play gets rewarded better than trying hard and skill. Obviously not every single time, but enough to raise an eyebrow.
