Hunger of Crota vs Gjallarhorn?

What's the difference in damage from 1 to another? How much more damage does Ghorn do? I just go Hunger from beating Crota today. Can't get Ghorn to drop for me.... Any videos with a side by side damage test?

  • Have both. Gjallarhorn = Super Vegito Hunger of Crota = Super Buu (gohan absorbed).

  • Gjallahorn trumps the Hunger of Crota. AoE "may" be better with the Hunger, but cluster bombs are extremely unpredictable. Very seldom do I see more than 6 clusters cause damage to mobs or bosses. With the Gjallahorn there are rare occurences where the wolfpack rounds don't hit anything, and thst only happens when you're wasting rockets on mobs.

  • I have both... I use HoC for raid because of hive disruptor. It does tons of damage on yellow bar enemies and it frees my exotic spot for ice breaker.

  • Gjallarhorn does way more with Wolfpack Rounds, HoC's cluster bombs just fall to the floor

  • Ghorn > Crota, but Crota isn't an exotic. The cluster bombs don't track like wolf pack does.

  • I have both and as long as you get a good hit with the ghorn it will always out damage the crota for the simple fact the bomblets on crota do an AoE style damage where as the Wolfpack rounds of the ghorn track the target and even then when the target is dead, the bomblets will track anything else near. You might argue crota is better for clearing large collections of mobs because it is more AoE, but in practice the ghorn still does more damage
