in your video you simply hit the second jump latter and that make you go further.

Edited by hellfrost: 12/31/2014 9:49:47 AMI main hunter so I know exactly when apex been reached when taping and holding. In first video timings were near perfect when 2nd and 3rd jumps were used. @nd jump is later because I hold my first jump which is higher or in lamens terms: it takes slightly longer to reach higher altitude compared to just taping.
-
im a main hunter too and this is not true, in all your videos you simply delay the first jump thats all.
-
Edited by hellfrost: 12/31/2014 10:53:52 AMYou can test it your self and you'll see, why argue. There's no delay, when you hold jump you actually go higher and to go higher takes a bit longer that's why it seems to be delay.
-
already tested, in the same places, just timming.
-
Clearly you have not. If you checked the 2nd video during the 3rd jump I let it fall a bit once apex been reached and I still don't make it. However during 2nd jump I let it fall as well however I make it. Difference between the two is that during 2nd jump I hold the button.

Edited by Mortaja: 12/31/2014 11:01:01 AMi can do all those jumps just tapping the button not holding.
-
Edited by hellfrost: 12/31/2014 11:12:02 AMYou might be holding and not realizing that and here's the difference so even you can't refute that difference is noticable: http://youtu.be/FpYMOuju3ZQ Jump height differs because it's linear to the time you hold jump button.
-
oh you are talking about the first jump! -blam!- sorry i was thinking in the huter skill jump, i thought that every first jump of all classes work like that
-
it does add extra height to both 2nd and 3rd jump. You can test using same wall method and do triple jump by just tapping and 2nd round do double jump tapping and 3rd jump hold it. It will increase height.
-
i test the skill super jump and didnt experienced any difference, only in the starter standard jump
-
I have no idea how you are testing but you are doing it wrong. Another video, this time slowed down so you could clearly see that I did not jump too early. First 3 jumps made with just taping while following 3 jumps made by taping first jump and holding jump on the 2nd one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iqSDilRrgA You can clearly see that if you hold 2nd jump you gain extra height by doing so.
-
ili dont know why then i jump just the same with the skill jump, must test it latter, maybe deppends on the super jump skill? dont know but excuse me sir, that seems correct!!

These tests were conducted with triple/higher jumps.
