From 0.56 to 2.67 in One Match: PvE Player in the Crucible

All finished up with all my Bounties for PvE on my Titan and topped out on Vanguard Marks, I thought I would crawl back into the Crucible. I've had Pending exotic Bounties for Thorn and Invective sitting stagnant at 8/25 on Invectives and 40/500 on Thorns. I'd watched both of these bounties climb and fall, never to be completed. So tonight I went on a Spree, hell bent on learning this PvP shenanigans. Grabbed up the 6 Crucible bounties, swapped my FWC Mark for the Avenger Titan Mark and went to work. It was Dark, my Guardians. I was pretty bad off and got worse. I decided on Clash, and scoring as low as 1:9 (0.11kd) I felt like a piece of shit. I even messaged the points leader for our team, apologizing for losing the match for him. He....didnt care. Some how I rolled Firebase Delphi constantly. I guess this was the night I was going to learn that map. In my Last 2 matches, I went 16:6 (2.67)and then 15:7(2.14) equipped with Up For Anything, a Sidwinder Mk.53 (with Hand Loaded and Luck in the Chamber) and Truth. I was going after Thorn points so my special and heavy had to be Void and I was doing my damnedest to stop grenade to anything I could (Titan Defender). At some point, that 8/25 Invective Bounty portion got completed! I was stoked. And the Thorn bounty is now 243/500. I learned a lot tonight. I learned that Auto Rifles scare people and that the spray is stupid effective for covering you teammates. I learned that, while in Armor of Light, people think they can challenge you and that, yes, A Titan can punch a Blade Dancing Hunter right it their face and win. I also learned that your brother, the Striker, certainly can smash your shit and put your face on it. The big thing I learned was that I was insane and most others in my game were, too. We kept trying to pull through the same choke point over and over, expecting different results and getting sweeped. When I finally caught myself form raging, sat back and took a deep breathe to relax, I saw it. I loosened up, stopped trying to get in the middle of 5 guns, and found my way around these spots and did my best to break up the traffic. I had a lot more fun and did a lot better. Still not in the habit of sliding yet. But I'm bobbing definitely not standing in one spot anymore. Configuring my stats for max defense and agility in stead of recovery, probably make to most difference in my survivability. Of note, I felt a bit like crap seeing that most my kills were Shot Gun. This was my first time using an Auto Rifle in the Crucible, and got 7 kills with it. I completed 5 of the 6 bounties; the 6th I completed none of, so I binned it. So, For any PvE focused players whom are wary of the Crucible: Don't be. You will learn, you will get better and you might have a lot of fun. P.S., other than 1 or 2 crap rares, I didnt get jack shit for rewards the tonight. I was almost expecting to get Gjallarhorn for as bad as I was doing. LOL I would hate myself if I did.
